Over the past fifteen years I have had the honour of working alongside Indigenous mentors and teachers learning the pathways to build relationships between First Nations and non-Indigenous communities based on trust and respect. I aspire to be an ally to Indigenous Peoples and First Nations and am passionately committed to bringing together diverse stakeholders and supporting authentic reconciliation and the unsettling of Turtle Island.  

As part of my commitment, I am proud to have founded the Indigenous Youth Mountain Bike Project (formerly Aboriginal Youth Mountain Bike Project) and recently developed best practice guidelines for working with Indigenous communities to support trails and reconciliation projects in partnership with the Outdoor Recreation Council of BC.
